Tomorrow's World Premiere Installment of Face of America is a Brilliant Integration of Exhilarating Dance, Spoken Word and Song. Don't Miss This...

Tomorrow at 8 pm, our President and CEO Terre Jones will watch as his nationally acclaimed Face of America project makes its triumphant return to the Filene Center stage as we present the world premiere of Face of America: Glacier National Park. This sixth offering in the innovative series conceived by Jones features the work of Trey McIntyre, one of today’s most sought after choreographers, one whose company frequently appears as part of Wolf Trap summer seasons.

McIntyre’s new dance, The Sun Road, commissioned by Wolf Trap specifically for Face of America: Glacier National Park, was created on-site in Glacier National Park and captured on high definition video. As is one of the defining concepts behind Face of America, the HD footage will be integrated with a live performance of The Sun Road on stage at Wolf Trap.

In telling the story of Glacier National Park, the event also features live performance by Montana artists including Blackfeet Indian singer-songwriter Jack Gladstone; cowboy singer Rob Quist; and Emmy Award-winning pianist Philip Aaberg. Poet Victor Charlo, great-great grandson of a chief of the Salish Tribe, and his daughter April Charlo will add the sounds of his original poetry in English and the ancient Salish language.

For a taste of what's to come, please take 30 seconds to watch this teaser trailer, produced by our friends at Blue Land Media. Plenty of tickets still available for this once in a lifetime experience...and I do mean once in a lifetime, as this evening of performance cannot be seen anywhere else, ever.
