Fall is Here, Summer is Past...

Upon noticing the significantly cooler weather today, once and for all signaling that summer is but a pleasant memory, I'd like to take a moment to solicit your opinions on that memory...

As The Barns at Wolf Trap fall schedule looms near, rife with such massive names as Nick Lowe, Cowboy Junkies, Janis Ian, and Stanley Clarke, I'd love to here your reflections on Wolf Trap summer 2009.

While your response doesn't need to adhere to any specific line of questioning, some of the general queries I'm most interested in posing are:

-Which performers would you like to see return and why?
-Which performers do you feel didn't fit particularly well at the Filene Center?
-What can we do differently at Wolf Trap which would prompt you to return on a more frequent basis?
-Based on current industry trends, which performers would be a good fit for summer 2010?
-How would you rate Wolf Trap amongst other venues in town with regards to customer service, programming, ambiance, etc.?

  1. I would really like to see the Doobie Brother Return, Pat McGee, Train, Guster, and Bela Fleck.

Based off of last year the only performance I didn't think fit with Wolf Trap was the Rat Pack Tribute. I have never really seen Wolf Trap as a venue for tribute or cover bands.

For me to continue to come out to Wolf Trap, keep up the fantastic atmosphere and amazing customer service. However, booking shows of artists that were big past 1979 would help a lot too. Wolf Trap has too many options for people that really enjoy 70's music. Book more performers that arn't at Wolf Trap just about every year.

Overall Wolf Trap is by far my favorite venue to go see shows, just too many performers I don't want to see or have already seen (at Wolf Trap) previously. Customer service is by far the best out of any venue I have been to. The fact the Filene Center is a National Park makes the ambiance truly incredible.
