The Blog is Graduating from College and Pursuing its Masters Degree...

It's been a little under four years since Wolf Trap: From the Inside Out published its first entry. So I like to think of it as having completed its college years, with a strong group of friends, a degree in how to communicate the Wolf Trap experience and relevant music industry news, and an exciting new plan laid out for the future. There's always a logical next step after undergrad, and this blog presents no exception. So let me tell you a little bit about where it's headed.

The blog is on track to earn its master's degree in effective audience engagement, and our plan is to achieve this accolade through a vastly expanded vision for content, beyond what we've presented in the past. We aim to showcase the broader Wolf Trap experience with a more robust schedule of posts from a variety of contributors.

I, Graham, Wolf Trap's Assistant Director for Public Relations will continue to be one of your regular contributors, as will Melissa Chotiner, Director of Public Relations. We are thrilled to welcome our Program & Production team to our list of writers who will bring an exciting new element and dimension to the blog as they are constantly immersed in the action packed backstage world. Get familiar with the names Barbara Parker, Peter Zimmerman, and Ann McKee, as they are gearing up to feature exclusive artist Q&A's, previews, set lists, and snap shots presenting days in the lives of our artists while on-site at Wolf Trap.

We'll also be hosting occasional content from Wolf Trap's education team, and guest posts from outside experts, including but not limited to media members, Wolf Trap Opera Company singers, Interns, and relevant Wolf Trap partner organizations.

So get ready! The blog is primed for a critical new life stage, and we need you there to document the experience. We hope this expanded vision will facilitate an environment where you can turn regularly for a source of new and unique information related to Wolf Trap and beyond, engage with us 1 on 1, and interact with other Wolf Trap fans and patrons via a passionate online community.

Feel free to tell us if you like our new direction, and/or what you crave more of, and we'll do our best to accommodate.

See you in the halls.

Graham
