Peter Zimmerman, Director, Program & Production, has held his position since 1999. He is responsible for the scheduling, booking and negotiating most of the pop music performances at the Filene Center and all at The Barns at Wolf Trap. A guitarist, percussionist, and horn player, Peter earned his degree in Theater Arts from Adams State College in CO and gained his booking experience at Penn State Center for the Performing Arts, and The Colonial Theatre in Keene, NH. His first concert was George Harrison and his all-time favorite band is the Beatles. Highlights from his time at Wolf Trap include bringing James Taylor and Jackson Browne to the Filene Center for the first time ever.
